African Chapter Tours (Pty) Ltd is a facilitator of travel arrangements and we do not operate our own aircrafts, hotels, lodges, activities or transport. All Travel Arrangements are made on behalf of travellers and subject to the following African Chapter Tours (Pty) Ltd terms and condition clauses and stipulated informations;
- Packaged Tours available on our website are quoted for FREE of CHARGE
- Tour concepts for trade related parties and individuals are subject to nominal fees to protect intellectual property of our trademark registered brand
- Online enquiries also qualify for FREE quotations for public and bonafide travel agents
Airfares are subject to the prices and conditions quoted by the airlines and cannot be guaranteed by the Company. A nominal service fee is charged depending on your destination, please discuss these with your consultant on enquiry.
If more than 4 weeks before departure, a 25 % non refundable deposit is required within 7 working days of receiving confirmation unless otherwise specified.
African Chapter Tours (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which payment has not been made by due date in which event, any deposit paid will be forfeited to the African Chapter Tours (Pty) Ltd.
Final payment is due 4 weeks before departure. Thereafter if cancelled the standard cancellations fees below apply. Invoiced tours and excursions are liable for a late payment fee added daily to the original invoice for administrative duties required in holding reservations not paid in full.
In the event of any reservation being completed less than 30 (thirty) days prior to departure, the total price is due immediately on confirmation and is subject to the cancellation fees as set out below.
A charge of R250.00 (including vat) will be charged for each alteration made after confirmation and invoice have been sent/issued. If airline tickets, the relevant ticket rules and cancellation fees will be additional to the above fee.
Standard Cancellation Fees (unless otherwise indicated):
For travel itineraries that are travelling over the South African border, travellers will be personally responsible for ensuring that they are in the possession of the correct documentation prior to their departure. African Chapter shall not be responsible for any consequences whatsoever should the traveller fail to ensure that he/she has complied with the necessary health, passport, visa, re-entry permits, or other legal requirements. Due to such requirements constantly being changed for each country, the company shall not be liable for any information, which its representative may furnish to the traveller in relation to the above.
All travellers are advised and are solely responsible to take out comprehensive travel insurance if travelling over South Africa’s border.
The Company shall not be bound by any representation, warranty, promise or the like not recorded herein or agreed to, in writing.
Documentation is only prepared on receipt of full and final payment and completed travel acceptance
- Maps, Directions and Establishment names and their contact details will be supplied on receipt of proof of payment!
All rates are subject to final availability at the time of Booking and any further Rate adjustments due to Exchange Rate Fluctuations, annual increases and other uncontrollable circumstances.

African Chapter Tours are insured for Public and Passenger Liabilities in incidences where this might be applicable.
African Chapter Tours abide to an environmentally conscious programme for the development of conservation in all aspects of tourism which this package includes.
